Well I love the books so obviously I think everyone should read them. As for the show, it depends on the maturity level of the person. There is a good amount of violence and some nudity and very sexual scenes. Generally I’d say 12 and up, but some people younger than that would be mature about it and some people older than that would still be squicked out by the beheadings and stuff.
