I’m shocked this hasn’t come up yet on tumblr as that’s usually the sort of thing that gets a lot of attention—maybe people just didn’t notice it because it was a Saturday or because Kraznys isn’t that large a role?
I think it was a bit of both. Also, Kraznys is an asshole. Given the furor that arose over casting people with a different skin color than the character as written (like Xaro), I’m a little surprised it hasn’t become a bigger deal. Not to mention how important some find worldbuilding to be in the ASOIAF universe.
