Users Online Tumblr of Thrones, I think it’s a good thing you’re covering the race of characters, it needs discussing, but I don’t think Kraznys casting is a problem. Race is a spectrum, for one Ghiscari are supposed to be a mixed people rather than one specific race. I’ve always thought of Ghis being a mix of Ancient Egypt/Babylon/Assyria. Facially, I think he is the right look. When he’s done up I’m sure he’ll look the part. I don’t know, it’s all a matter of opinion really, isn’t it. Anyway, keep up the good work!

With Kraznys, I’m just going by the book’s actual description of him, not a general Ghis type. He’s described as having amber skin and so on, so he’s pretty clearly not white. It may not matter necessarily to his character, but it matters in other ways.
