Now recently I got a message asking to refrain from tagging character hate. I personally did not think it was hate. I actually feel neither here nor there about cersei, and I believed I was making an observation. Tell me what other reason cersei would sleep with jaime, apart from it being the closest she’ll get to sleeping with herself? Jaime states himself when he cut off his hair and was bald how he looked less like cersei, and that she wouldn’t like that. So please, tell me…

Doesn’t seem that hard to fathom to me. They spent all of their time together, they experimented with kissing as children often do, and they got on fabulously it seems. They were partners in everything since they were born, and when they grew older, it shifted into sexuality. He adored her and she loved him in return. There could be an element of narcissism there, as you observed, but not necessarily. It’s a matter of opinion, but I doubt a relationship based on only narcissism could keep them together for that long.
