When people complain about Samwell dropping the dragonglass and talk about how dumb that was, after he slayed a White Walker, I see red. He’s not stupid. He did something incredibly brave when most people in Westeros wouldn’t give a single fuck about a girl like Gilly or her baby. And then he panicked and ran. For all he knew, the White Walker had others coming right behind him like the last time Sam saw him. But Sam got the job done first, saved Gilly and the baby, and that’s what matters.
Sam is the fucking best.
