Seriously disappointed with the casting of Daario. Hopefully the Martells won’t be cast as white too.
It’s not strictly an analogous situation. Daario wasn’t specifically a man of color in the books, but he could have been cast that way, and WiC heard they were only auditioning non-white men, initially. Kraznys’s casting is a much more clear-cut case of whitewashing.
But yeah, still disappointing they didn’t follow through with the casting of a PoC.
The Martells being cast as white would be directly contradictory to the text.
